Soaring Concepts was born in early 2000 to fill a need in the powered parachute industry. When we began designing the Sky Trek our goal was to build a powered parachute that we would be proud to own and fly ourselves, one that would be strong enough to withstand the training abuse that trainers take and that would also be affordable and provide the greatest value. You will not find another powered parachute with more standard equipment than the Sky Trek. We use only aircraft grade materials that get machined then assembled into the finest machine that will last for many years of safe and enjoyable flight.
We are especially proud of our main frame rail structure, which we believe to be the strongest and most functional in the industry. The frame rails on a powered parachute take the load and absorb the landing shock every time you fly. Not only are the frame rails on the Sky Trek constructed of larger diameter 4130 Chrome-moly tubing than our competitors, but they also run the full length of the machine, providing the engine mount, seats, and prop rings the strongest foundation you can buy. Our design also gives you significantly more ground clearance (a full 13”), this dramatically lessens the chance of damaging your prop rings or propeller on landing while you or your students are learning to fly.
Inspect the Sky Trek closely and you will find superior quality and attention to details throughout, from a fuel sump with two outlets for safety, a high gloss baked on durable powder coating, to an adjustable front seat for hours of comfortable flight.
